“Peace is not absence of conflict,” Ronald Reagan once said. “It is the ability to handle conflict by peaceful means.” That is the goal of our next EQUIP workshop, to learn how to resolve conflict by peaceful means. On Saturday, May 30 we are simultaneously re-starting and bringing to year-end close our EQUIP Leadership Development seminars for ministry leaders and
BACK TO WORSHIP TOGETHER!
This week HIF transitions back to gathering for worship on Sunday mornings at Westlake and MyDinh after a nine-week experiment in online worship. We use the word transition, instead of resume because in many ways what we returning to this Sunday will be different than the worship services that were suspended two months ago. This Sunday we will worship at both locations at the usual times (9am and 11am MyDinh, 10am Westlake) and there will be a modified KidzQuest available at both sites. For those opting to stay at home or not able to attend, we encourage you to worship with us online at the same time (or later) on YouTube and Facebook.
All our large group gatherings will be following the government instructions of using masks and handwashing in public gatherings. We also created our own HIF Community Guidelines for Worship Gatherings. Connect Groups and other activities can resume again as well. Stay tuned for more information to come and subscribe to our updates using the button in the menu bar.

Welcome to HIF, your family away from home. We are a place where you can grow in your faith and serve others. Together we can love Hanoi with hands and feet.

I thank HIF for helping us grow in the knowledge and grace of the Lord Jesus Christ; and I'm especially thankful for my 2nd and youngest daughters who have both accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior while in Hanoi.
Having been part of HIF during my 10-month stay, I feel enriched. Volunteering at Spotlight has taught me many things. For one, that stage fright seems to be in the background now!
I wanted freedom and money, but after I attend this church, I came to realize that its not the most important thing in life. What is important, I realize is to see the beauty of my LORD and follow his rule.
While in HIF, I came to understand how much I’m loved by God and God used HIF to help me realize the meaning of loving others and to also feel loved by God and his people in this community.
