We had amazing Aftershock retreats in Ba Vi!! Our theme was “Find Rest” and we all had time to slow down from our busy lives. Over the last two weekends we had 31 students and 7 leaders grow closer as a community and connect deeper with God in beautiful Ba Vi. We had a blast playing futbol, ping pong, darts,
Celebrate Advent and Christmas with HIF!
As Advent approaches, we invite you to celebrate with us at HIF! Join us as we welcome this season with joy and thanksgiving for the wonderful gift of Jesus’ birth, even as we reflect on the challenges and uncertainties of the year.
Many of us who typically return home at this time of year are unable to do so this year, and are feeling the loss of holiday time shared with family and friends. We encourage you to draw near to God during this challenging time, in particular by seeking a deeper connection to your family in Christ here at HIF.
Join us for four weeks of Advent worship services, which begin Sunday, November 29, at both locations at the usual times (9am and 11am MyDinh, 10am Westlake). The focus will be on the Gospel of Luke, moving through a progression from expectation, preparation, proclamation, and revelation, culminating in the celebration of God’s coming.
Then, celebrate with us on December 24th, Christmas Eve, with two services at HIF Westlake at 5:30 & 7:30PM, and a family service at HIF MyDinh at 6:00PM.
Next online worship service:
Welcome to HIF, your family away from home. We are a place where you can grow in your faith and serve others. Together we can love Hanoi with hands and feet.

I thank HIF for helping us grow in the knowledge and grace of the Lord Jesus Christ; and I'm especially thankful for my 2nd and youngest daughters who have both accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior while in Hanoi.
Having been part of HIF during my 10-month stay, I feel enriched. Volunteering at Spotlight has taught me many things. For one, that stage fright seems to be in the background now!
I wanted freedom and money, but after I attend this church, I came to realize that its not the most important thing in life. What is important, I realize is to see the beauty of my LORD and follow his rule.
While in HIF, I came to understand how much I’m loved by God and God used HIF to help me realize the meaning of loving others and to also feel loved by God and his people in this community.
